Valentine’s Day was just the right reason for us to celebrate and have a jolly and joyful party. Faz led today’s session, the atmosphere was electric, and our 36 attendees were full of life and love on this special day.
Whilst enjoying delicious sandwiches and pastries which were brought by Lisa, our members were colouring in, creative bouquets. Faz ran a Valentines quiz today and a sing along. Our members were all smiles as we sang along to a couple of our favourites ‘Que Sera Sera’ and ‘You Are My Sunshine’ by Doris Day.
Next to join us was our seated exercise guru – Rachel, it was great fun moving around to disco tunes whilst working out. Thank you so much for the energy that you inject into our sessions.
Heidi joined us today and what a merry time we had, there was a fantastic vibe, we were enjoying dancing to ‘Brown girl In The Ring’ amongst many other favourites. Kevin a huge thanks for leading a happy trail of members around the cafe as we sang and danced to ‘The Locomotion’. Thank you for an excellent end to the session Heidi.
Thank you also to Keren our fabulous volunteer, our energetic Kevin and Morewena for volunteering today. A huge thank you to Joyce who was running the café and looking after us, serving our drinks. Lisa Rutter our chairman and Mark thank you for supporting our session, we love having you with us and Lisa’s home-made cake was a lovely treat!.
