We had 60 people today at the Eversfield venue to celebrate the King’s Coronation. Lisa brought lovely sandwiches and Jane made her beautiful Coronation cup cakes decorated with flags and crowns. Jane’s 11 year old granddaughter Grace also helped at the party to decorate with bunting and generally assisting.

Lisa brought a cardboard cut out of the King and his Guard, some face masks of all the Royal Family for members to wear and also some King Coronation pin badges and other cross shaped badges with lanyards.

Jeanette gave members some Royal word searches to complete.

Helen our music entertainer then joined us and as usual got everyone singing various songs including the Kings National Anthem and ending with the Hokey Cokey. Richard then got everyone moving with fun yoga movements.

Lisa then asked those members who picked face masks to come forward for a group photo which was great fun.
Everyone had an enjoyable time. Thank you to our volunteers Jane, her granddaughter Grace and Ken who was busy washing up in the kitchen, Jeanette and Graham, Theresa and Melissa and of course Mark.
