What We Do
We run several dementia club sessions in various locations. Details of all the venues and session dates can be found on our programme.
Each session aims to provide you with professional advice and information, gentle exercise to music and fun activities in a social atmosphere with cups of tea/coffee and lovely cakes.
Various speakers will attend the sessions and we also have a GP who volunteers their time and attends most sessions. Our GP takes blood pressures and also answers any medical concerns.
Dementia Club UK provides people with another lifeline, giving care and support, professional advice, fun activities daily and above all Hope.

Dementia Club UK commissioned Middlesex University in May 2015 to undertake an independent research study to evaluate the impact and benefits of our provision on people living with dementia and their carers in the community. The research showed (demonstrated) the club as having a positive impact on those living with or caring for a person with Dementia, based on its techniques and the model used in its cafes. Dementia Club UK also runs two Zoom sessions every week on Tuesday. We have a musical Zoom session every Tuesday from 2.30pm to 4.30pm which includes (Quizzes, Chair Exercises, Music Entertainment and Bingo) and we also have a Carers Group Meeting every week on Tuesday in the evening from 7pm to 8.30pm. Please see our Programme and get in Touch with Lisa if you would like to receive the Zoom joining links.
Dementia Club UK goes above and beyond to provide help and support to those suffering with dementia and also their carers and families to put smiles on their faces and give them a better quality of life.
Please remember us in your Will with a Legacy. A Gift in your Will can help Dementia Club UK to continue to provide the services that you and your loved one have enjoyed. If you would like to discuss this further with us please contact the Chairman Lisa by phone or email.
Dementia Club UK are a charity that work closely with people who suffer from dementia and their families & offer invaluable support! They have been an enormous help to my Aunty & Uncle who are full time carers for my grandmother & I’d love to help raise even a small amount to give something back. I know December can be an expensive month, but if you can spare anything at all, it would be greatly appreciated!
