The monthly session at Eversfield was led by Keren this week (as our usual volunteers are away this month) We had 27 members attend, and the lovely Theresa and John helping to make the teas and coffee for everyone to enjoy with some afternoon tea-time treats. We had a Scattergories quiz this week, finding things beginning with the letter D, which was trickier than you would think! However, lots of creative minds and certainly a competitive spirit meant that it was a close call between first and second place. Well done Shirley and Vonny for being today’s winners.
Helen arrived early and chatted to everyone before she started her fantastic entertainment by singing, playing the piano, also the harp and accordion. She really is a great talent and we are lucky to have her. This was followed by a fabulous exercise session, led by Richard. He is so good at getting everyone moving and stretching with his fun comments to make sure everyone joins in.
We all sang Happy Birthday to one of our carers, Michael as it was his Birthday today. Lovely that he chose to come and spend it with us all. Happy Days
