Faz ran today’s session for the 30 members and carers who attended. With the upcoming trip to Teapot Island Faz began the session with a teacup theme giving everyone a colouring sheet with teacups on to colour in and word searches. There were some very beautiful pictures and it was great to see everyone getting creative.
After enjoying a nice cup of tea or coffee we were treated to an exciting and motivating exercise session with Eon, members stayed seated for most of the session but that didn’t stop Eon giving them a great work out, especially the arms!.
Ian James joined us for the final part of our session, members and carers were enjoying an array of music today including some Country and Western from Glen Campbell. After lots of dancing Ian treated us by singing a lovely story to us today by Kenny Rogers.
Enormous thanks to all the staff at Friend In Need for supporting the session and the lovely ladies who kept our thirst at bay with plenty of hot drinks and water. Eon and Ian you both inject so much energy into your work and the proof is in all the happy smiling faces, a huge thank you to you both.
