Our first session of the New Year at the Finchley cricket club was held on the 9th January 2-4pm. As our members arrived, they sat round the tables and chatted with tea, coffee, crisps and cakes kindly provided by Lisa and Mark. There were word searches, colouring and a quiz prepared by Keren who was leading the session today.
One of our members James sang a couple of lovely songs and a few other announcements were made. This included wishing our wonderful trustee Valerie good health for an upcoming operation. She will sadly not able to join us for the next 6 to 8 weeks so we thanked her again for everything that she dose for the club and wished her well.
Eon was with us and at 2:40 to lead the exercise section of our afternoon. It was fantastic as we had 45 people in the room (a few more chairs may be needed for next time). He was followed by the wonderful singer Gayle. Everyone was up dancing within a few minutes. The atmosphere was great as everyone was ready to have a good time.
Thank you to our volunteers and Trustees Valerie and Mark and Lisa our Chairman and some of the carers who always step up to help. Thanks to everyone for making it such a warm, inclusive and fun session.
