Sophia’s story
To mark the occasion of my Bat Mitzvah I will be undertaking a sponsored swim on Saturday 2nd July 2022 for my chesed project.
I decided I wanted to raise money for Dementia Club UK which is a charity that is very close to my family. Dementia Club UK provides help and support to those living with dementia and also their carers and families.
As you will all know, my family love to swim and so do I so I thought it would be a real challenge to swim 100 lengths of the pool I train in at Copthall to raise money for this charity – 100 lengths is 2.5 kilometres in one session!
