It was a very busy session today celebrating Valentine’s Day. Everyone enjoyed a Valentine Bingo, Valentine word searches whilst enjoying their teas/coffees, lovely sandwiches and cakes.
It was then time for some Yoga exercises with Bhavna which everyone enjoyed. As we had no music entertainer today, Lisa took over with various activities. James one of the carers sang a few songs, then Lisa asked Mark and Valerie to read 2 Valentines poems. This was followed by another Valentines poem which was read by 4 members reading a verse each.
Lisa then got everyone singing some of the favourite songs and some members also enjoyed some dancing. It was a very successful session. Thank you to Mark and Valerie and also Linda who organised the lovely buffet of sandwiches and cakes today. It was also lovely to see Rotary a prospective member of the Rotary – Tom and Satwant.
