We welcomed 28 guests to the Eversfield Centre, after greeting each other the members enjoyed a hot drink and a selection of cakes and biscuits.
As it was Pancake Day there was a word game to make as many different words from the letters in Pancake Tuesday, the most we counted was 50 which was a huge amount.
Card making materials were also on the table to make Easter, Birthday or Thank you cards.
Helen then joined us and began by playing some rousing Welsh tunes, March 1st being St David’s Day, a demonstration by Jeanette, Teressa and Jane with words and movements of the Pancake Song was hilarious and everybody joined in. Helen played some more famous Welsh tunes we had word sheets so we could sing along with her, finally we sang songs which had been sung by famous Welsh singers Tom Jones and Shirley Bassey all very much enjoyed.
Richard then took over and we did seated exercises and repeated the movements to the Pancake Song.
To end the session several guests told jokes and riddles which were very funny. Lisa then thanked everybody and wished everybody a safe journey home.
