It was good to meet up again at DCUK in the warm hall at the Eversfield centre after our Christmas break. Lots to celebrate this time!
We welcomed a new member today. Then Chris, a regular popular member, looking forward to celebrating his birthday in a few days time was surprised to be presented with a cake complete with an enormous whooshing candle!
After paper and pencil puzzles, we joined Helen playing the “squeeze box” then the piano. We sang some love songs, then to our surprise Helen announced she had got married in late December 2023! So congratulations to Helen from us all.
All fired up, we then had a session of seated exercises with Rachel accompanied by stories from around the world. A busy happy afternoon. Thank you Lisa, and volunteers Theresa, Jane, Ken,Grahame and Jeanette.
