Dementia Club UK has worked for a number of years with TfL to try and make the extension to route 383 possible.
Dementia Club UK said that this bus link to Finchley Memorial Hospital is a vital service for staff, nurses, doctors and patients, and has made a huge difference to many people visiting the hospital for treatment and attending dementia club sessions.
TFL said “After carefully considering all the responses, we have decided to proceed with our proposal for route 383. The permanent extension of the route to Finchley Memorial Hospital will come into effect on 22 October 2022.”
