Today’s session was led by Faz.
It was wonderful to welcome 27 members to our monthly session at Barnet Copthall Leisure Centre. Faz’s theme for today was St. Patrick’s day which falls on 17th March.
Our members enjoyed colouring in a shamrock and doing a St. Patrick’s themed word search. Well done to Gina’s team and Ant’s team for winning the most points in the St. Patrick’s Day quiz.
Angie popped in to talk to our members to teach them the importance of breathing and posture. We managed to squeeze in an impressive sing-along before being joined by our radiant Rachel who got everyone moving energetically to a mix of seated and standing exercises.
Helen, our super singer, joined us next and entertained our members with singing and dancing. Our hearty thanks to Rachel and Helen for all the energy and enthusiasm they bring to our sessions. Warm thanks to Keren, our volunteer, who managed to get the screen working so that we could see the words to the songs for the sing-along.
It was also great having support today from Shital and Kevin. Thanks also to Joyce from the café who served us all teas and coffees and thanks to Lisa for bringing in some lovely cakes.
