Today’s session at Middlesex Golf Club was led by Keren.
We began with our usual table activities – crosswords, word searches, and colouring – for those who fancied at the start, while everyone enjoyed tea, coffee, and a good selection of cakes and biscuits.

Keren then got everyone thinking with a fun warm-up, asking members to call out the answers to some well know sayings which were all similes.

Next, we played a special version of Human Bingo – this time using straws as markers. Instead of numbers, we used different human character characteristics to decide who would be the winner, making it a unique and entertaining twist on the game.

After bingo, Rachel led our exercise session, bringing along her trademark fun hats and colourful scarves to hand out to members. As always, her lively approach had everyone moving, smiling, and joining in.

The afternoon continued with James entertaining us with his singing. He included a fun musical quiz where we all had to guess the song from the first few lines – and once the answer was guessed, everyone joined in singing together. Towards the end of the session, we did the Hockey Cokey, which filled the room full of laughter, and we then ended with a rousing singalong to Sweet Caroline.

A big thank you to the staff at the golf club for their support, and it was lovely to see our trustee Val and chairman Lisa, who are always on hand to offer encouragement and help to everyone.
It was a wonderful afternoon of fun, music, and friendship.
