Our monthly Dementia Club UK session was held on Monday 1st September at Sha’arei Tsedek Synagogue in Whetstone.

Our members were served tea, coffee, cake and biscuits at the start of our session and were happy chatting to each other.

The wonderful Jane then led an exercise session which all our members participated in and enjoyed.

Sylvia, one of our amazing volunteers, had knitted the most gorgeous, colourful, incredible blankets which she kindly donated to our members. They were absolutely thrilled with them! Thank you so much Sylvia, you are so talented and generous!

James, one of our members, sang a beautiful song called ‘Memory’ from the musical Cats, which all our members loved listening to! Thank you James!

We had Dr Rebecca with us who took blood pressure readings and was checking ears for anyone who wanted this done. Thank you so much Dr Rebecca!

This was followed by a lively session of entertainment provided by James Le Bec and his lovely assistant Joy! James sang a variety of popular songs to which many of the members and helpers danced. He also did a music quiz and our members got very involved! It was great fun! Everyone loved it!
32 members and carers attended the session including nine helpers who were:- Justine, Louis, Gilda, Stephen, Keith, Dot, Sylvia, Melissa and Lisa
